Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED
View info

What would you do if someone you know became suddenly ill or injured? The American Red Cross Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED program trains participants how to act knowledgeably and with confidence during times of crisis.

Complete about 3 hours of interactive online training at your own pace before attending a 2½ hour in-person skills session with a certified instructor. Topics include recognition and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, and heat and cold emergencies. Participants will also be taught how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age.

An American Red Cross certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED is awarded upon successful completion, valid for two years. The cost of this course is $115 per person.

For questions or to register, call the Aquatics Hotline at 410.559.3530 or the DBJCC at 410.559.3618. Stay tuned for future dates!
